Wow, that's quite a big difference with the MH light. Is the LED lamp as close as possible to the plants?

I could probably set it right on top of them. I am going to try out some different heights. I will drop them down to about four inches and see what happens.

My grow seemed like that took off slow also, I was waiting for them to grow like they took Viagra, it took a little bit before they took off. They'll take off like a rocket shortly!! Looking Good!

Thanks Florida, I have always used HIDs and have never had one takes its time like this.. I dropped the light down to three inches off the top of them, temp stayed in the low 80's. When I checked on them in the A.M. their leaves were sticking straight up towards the light. Is that good or bad? It reminds me of my outdoor plants reaching for the sun... Day 11

nice light man! you are using the mother of all LED's.
and your plants are looking good at the new height!
I would keep it as close as possible always- plants seem to like LEDs more that way.

Ok, we are at two weeks and they are still crawling along. I have now raised the light up to 11 inches and may go higher. Time to start getting these babies moving. The dream weaver is looking like she may need some good food, My last one required nutes before the rest too.. So next watering it will start getting the good stuff.. they are a whooping two inches tall.. Here they be, Day 14.



I am a bit suprised out how tight they are growing, most led grows I have seen had problems with stretching..

The spectrum is good. They look pretty good man, have you started with a 4/4/4 or anything yet?

Nope, not yet.. The next watering the DW will get a small dose of Grow Big 6-4-4 and a little bit of Sea weed.... I want to see if she will have a growth spurt when it gets some good food in it.. I will start the BG on nutes next week sometime..ANy ideas or thoughts Boss?? I know you have some knowledge on LEDS that you want to share with me....

my take is that closer is better... at leas thats what I got out of a couple months using the 1' square panels....

I have been reading up and most the test are done with them a minimum of 24" I am about over looking at a 2" plant. I will keep raising the lights in hopes that they will chase the light up... It is a test grow, so gotta try everything I can. Gave them a 1/4 dose of Fish emulsion today.It's all good...The light is now @ 15" and my plan is to see how they react.

I would stay at about 13" off the plant, and start a high N nute dose now at 1/4 and go to half next feeding. I think it will shoot up on it's own.

I have kept the light @ 14". They seem to be perking up a bit. They will get 1/4 dose grow big in the next watering.. Thought I would throw in a few pics to end the weekend.. Here they be day 16...
