VIVA LAS VEGAS! Procyon 100 LED grow test

OK, so I am going to be doing this at least through the veg stage and possibly into flower depending on if I like what I see.. I will be using the proycon 100 which I think is a upper mid level LED. I picked Bubble gum and Dream Weaver to be my guinea pigs. The two seeds broke ground on 9/28. I had the lght around 12" above the plant and noticed the DW stretching so on 9/30 I dropped the light down 4" and will see if it stops it. Any questions about the light should be googled as I don't know shit about it except that it is bright as hell.. The GF sings out "Viva Las Vegas" everytime she walks by the bathroom, think the light reminds her of Vegas.... They are in the bathroom until I finsh the new grow rooms. Ok, a few pics @day 3 or 4.. I think it is me and not the light that is off.. WAKE and BAKE!!!! Red pot=Bubble Gum Green=Dream Weaver.

It is at 8" now....So I will give them a few days and see how they react.. and it is the light aand not me...

That's way cool, BE! If LED technology can be perfected, it would change everything.

I've read about that LED lamp you have there and it's suppose to be one of the best. I hope you have good results with it. Even if you have to move to the HIDs at some point, it can still be very useful. Just think of all the power you can save, not to mention the heat issues one normally deals with.

Thanks for the interest guys and gals... Well, things seem to be coming along slowly. They have not grown height wise in the last few days. It seems like all their energy is going to spitting out the second set of leaves...I brought the light up to ten inches to see what happens..I think I am going to transplant into one gallon pots here soon. I would like to take a peek at the roots and see how they are looking.. So here is a few pics of them on day 7.


I am going to do my best and hang in there to see this through, but it is killing me how slow they are growing and it's only been a week..

Man I am jealous. I've been waiting for my Procyon for over a month. They are back ordered at all the places that sell them. I'm supposed to get it this week. Hope you are enjoying it. My friend uses one and just loves it for vegging. It saves so much $$$$. Can't wait to see more updated pics. Are you doing the whole grow under the Procyon?

Thanks you all.. Keep sending good vibes this way... I transplanted them iinto 1 gal pots yesterday. The second set of true leaves is in Finally.. The light is eight inches abouve the plants may go to 10 or 12 to get a little growth out of them. Stems are still skinny, I even turned the fan up to medium...Ok so a few pics on day 9-


and a comparison.. The other one is one week older!!! It is under a 400 MH, but was started under LED and CFL's.

Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome..
Kara, they sell out much faster then they can make them.. I got this in hopes that it could fuel my veg room and that I would'nt have to get another light. If they are going good through veg. I will try to flower them under the LED just to see what happens..I am waiting patiently for a growth spurt....
