I pruned mine somewhat like yours also in my tron.I was looking at pics of pruning/topping in the tron manual and kinda got carried away.More of a whack attack than a prune.I got lucky and they bounced back very nicely.You'll probably be ok too as they look healthy.
For future reference I won't do it again though!

Exactly why i pruned was to get more light down to other colas.Hopefully the plant comes back.I was told if your pruned the fan leaves that plant would focus more energy to the main.I'm by no means a expert at this,this is my first indoor grow.I will let ya know in about a week if plants decide they liked it or not.

the underside of leaves do not process light, so ground level lights will have minimal effectiveness. side lighting is a good idea, though.

How long was it till your plants started growth again?

Thanks Ms.Fox.It really didn't take long at all.I was worried I over did it(which I did)but they perked right up for me.

The kids are back to growing,grew bout 1/4 overnight.I wont be cutting any more during this grow till I find out if it benefited me or not.

I'm not gonna name the plants yet since we don't know sex,but I am gonna Number them so in the future I can refer to a number to identify which plant in question.I have total of 6 plants and only pruned 4 of the 6.So the first 2 pics are of non-pruned plants and they are bushy.
#3 is the three leafer.Its a little smaller then others.

I was thinking of sexing the plants,would it be alright to go 12/12 then once sex is determined go back to 24/0 to veg a another month?

Yes you can...Or you could just keep your plants in veg...Take a clone from each plant and put it directly into flowering to determine sex.
