Setup was easy turn on, open valves adjust sprinklers and wala.

Mixing my first nutes was fairly easy. I found out about my tap water is crap.
Ph 8.1 , 230 ppm lots of calcium & magnesium in my water.

The worst and most time consuming part was spent cleaning the dirt from the roots. As of now I am a hydro grower although half my crop is still in dirt.

More to come later. If my camera works.

Can you list the parts and where they can be bought (ie pet store, home depot etc), or a link to wherever you got this design?

Re: Pan's Experimental Garden

Dale most of the parts for this were bought at Lowes. The only parts that were ordered are the ebb&flow drains and hose from BGhydro. As far as a plan goes no plan I saw a video of one simular. Pumps you can get at Discount Pumps I found all but one at Lowes all closeouts cheap.

Basic parts list. For spray tank 1/2" Piping
4- 90 elbow
1- t fitting
1- 10' pipe
1- valve
1- 1/2" threaded coupling
1- 1/2" tubing barb
6- Rainbird 360 sprinklers
1- 1/2" ebb&flow drain
Glue
Any tub

I hope that helps.

Re: Pan's Experimental Garden

For the Birthday wishes yall!

After lots work with Excel I finally have a schedule that allows for 24 plants in 2 cycles. 2 weeks in seedling/clone before moving to the vegger. 4 weeks in the vegger then to the 5" flower unit for 4 weeks taking clones in the 2 week of flowering. Then is to the ebb&fow table for finishing.

Well the lights will be on soon I have lots to check.

Re: Pan's Experimental Garden

Sounds like you have a good plan with the schedule you've came up with. I seem to be moving toward a more staggered grow myself, where I'm harvesting something once a month, or so.

I'm really liking all the different strains in your garden. That power skunk might be a candidate for supercropping or LSTing.

Hydro, soil, LED, HID .. you're doing it all man!!

That's a pretty cool idea your wife has with the drinks. You could soak a couple of nugs in some grain alcohol and use that to make the drinks. That would kick it up a couple of notches.

Nice growing, brother!

Re: Pan's Experimental Garden

Thank you Stizz1e for the rep.

Harry this how the wife doing on the seeding.
The power skunk 4 after fertilizing.

Sagarmatha Riser male.

The male will be culled soon.

Attack of the Clones
Power Skunk the wife already topped one of them.

Lemon Skunk to be topped soon.

Cheese & Alaskan Ice

Sadly I don't think the Rhino will make it.

I found out that cloning in rockwool is hard.

This for me this is much better, my floating bubble cloner.

Blue Cheese clone

Flying Dutchman 1 clone

Lastly a White Rhino clone.

All the cloner is a Styrofoam tub with piece of foam that floats. I am using Dutchmasters cloning gel to dip the clones in. In the reservoir I use FF nutes mixed for seedlings, Super Thrive, and Shultz cloning powder.

Harry I really wish I topped this one but as a newbie we weren't to sure about cropping anything. LOL

Lastly I have a question. When will this be ready for harvest starting week 8 of flowering.

Re: Pan's Experimental Garden

Looking good pan.

the last pic.. hard to say do you have a microscope or jewelers loupe to check the trichs?

The tall skinny one.... Try bending it over or spiraling it around a tomato cage thingy. The stem is very resilient. Don't worry about being a little forceful if you have to be. Ive wish-boned branches as well as snapped right in half and they have come back with a vengeance.

Might want to get that male out of there sooner than later. Unless you want the seeds.

Keep it up. I love how you have so many different things going on.
