Hey everyone I've got a new grow going and I thought you all might like to see it. I germinated 3 seeds about a month ago and 2 have turned out to be male... The seeds are of the unknown variety. I started 2 more about 2 weeks later. They are on a 12/12 schedule from seed. They began their lives in my homemade PC growbox some of you might remember...They always do very well in there until it is time for a bigger pot. I will try and keep germinating a few seeds to the point where I can eventually harvest a couple plants every few weeks.
 Strain: Bagseed collected over the years... I only save seed from the dankest of weed. Soil: Ocean Forest w/ added perlite Nutes: Botanicare Pure blend ProGrow/ProBloom/Liquid Karma additive Lights: 4x42w CF 2600x4= 10400L total Environment: Box fan is on all day and night. RH is unknown for now. Temps are very consistent. During the light cycle it reaches 80. During the dark cycle it stays around 68. This unconfirmed female is almost a month old. The other two that I germinated with it were male, so I hope this turns out to be a girl...  These two are around 15 days old. Maybe a Sativa?    Well that's it for now, thanks for tuning in! Good news. I have two girls!! The large plant and the sativa looking one both have pistils now. Today I threw down with a buddy on 20 seeds. They are being shipped to his house and I will be getting 5 Cali-orange, and 5 Hindu Kush. I will wait until I get my 400hps to start the quality genetics. I've had my eye on the light for a while now. Its 200 at the local shop so not bad. I dont like the idea of using my credit card to buy a light online. Even if its more expensive at the store, I can pay cash for it. At the moment I'm barely up on rent so thats gonna have to wait. Maybe by the time the seeds arrive I can buy it.   Transplanted the small girl into her permanent 5gal home. Does anyone think it will need that big of a pot? I was kindof thinking that after I was finished. Hope everyone out there is having as great a day as I am!

Thanks for takin interest Fluroman and Hazyatbest.
The plants are taking off! The last unknown plant showed sex and its a girl. 3 female out of 5 original seeds is not bad at all. I went ahead and transplanted the other plants so they always have room to grow. I also made a trip to the store and picked up some FoxFarm Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom. They seem to be loving that stuff. Well here are the pics... Aretha    Ms. Lanky   Girl #3    Anyone have any suggestions of what I should do to the untrained plants? I was thinking about LST, but I kindof want to try something else... maybe pinching or topping. Thoughts and comments are always appriciated!

Looking good dread... For future reference, if you are not going to grow big plants you don't need big containers. It will save you on soils,nutes and space. The 5 gallon is way overkill for a cfl garden, specially if you are already going into flowering. You are going to enjoy that 400 and those strains.. God job and good luck Dread man....

Well my GF gave me my b-day present today.... It was a 150w HPS kit!! What a great girlfriend huh?? Its no 400w but its one of the best gifts I've ever received.
I'm keeping the CFL's in there so this brings me up to about 25,000 Lumens. Not bad for the space its in. I cant wait to see the growth in the next few weeks! I'm so glad I have at least 150w of HID in there. It makes me feel I'm not completely wasting my time with this grow. Hopefully it will also aid in resin production. I've heard CFL's lack in this department... Anyway my b-day couldn't have been better even the kids are happier!
