Janx you should read the post here on how to grow marijuana in it there is a link to how to make a reflector using a soda can. (I used a rockstar double shot can cause there longer though) that will help you get some more lumens to your plants but they are looking good. what nutes are you using. If you can I would get some jumpstart from AN for your clones to root faster I f**kn love that ish.

Actually just using the Miracle Grow set for now ya'll...I confess. We have almost no access to a decent store around here. I have to drive 4 hours to ATL or Pensacola either way. As soon as this crop comes in I'll be stylin'. I'll probably add a couple of 600watts in both MH and HPS, along with proper hor. reflectors. Hey Southern, I spent my middle school years in Currituck Co (NE NC) and my first experience moving away from home was in Hendersonville. THAT was a blast (at 18). Also where I learned all about Hydro for the first time. Spent 3 days in the Natl Forest outside of Asheville, puking my guts out on some "H'ville Homegrown" and about 4 double purp tabs. A first for both actually...lmao. The Wife and I are waiting to see if ol' Bama goes medical lenient on us before we sell the farm and move somewhere more tolerant. Like NC or N. Cal....we'll see.

Dude In southern Texas unless you know a grower all thats around is mexican brick, Bad Mexican brick.... One time an eternity ago me and otherone found a bag of old shi that was at least a year old(from an old stash). We both cried like babies cry... and we cried for what I see now as 'crap' weed. IMHO why should we have to import stuff we can grow better, be fresher, safer,economical, healthier, besides help the economy OK OK I didnt mean to rant but still good luck on yur grow.. You wont have to buy crap again. I found this one out luckily for me.. Southernweed, hahaha, I have been down the street yelling and crying in my past too!!!

sorry if i missed it in the previous pages but what have been your light cycles 24/0 18/6 or 12/12

i wanna try cfl and t5's for the veg part of my next grow cuz its so hot this time of year

I started everything under CFL's on a 24/0 cycle. When I went to flowering I bought a 400w MH for about $100 (whole system). As you can see in the pics, I didn't like the hood (narrow beam vertical) so I left it open until harvest. Then I'll add a 600-1,000w HPS and proper Horizontal hoods for both.

I have actually had some luck today. I found a new Grow Supply down in Florida that hooked me up. I went to find a cheap reflector and came home with an entire 1,000 HPS system for $300!!! A Harvest Pro switchable ballast (to use Halide Bulbs/same Ballast, for the new guys) and a Yield Master Air-Cooled Reflector (glass-covered). Both are made by SunSystems, so they're decent quality and I even got the Hortilux Bulb for like $50 (included). Not too bad, huh? Either way, I can finally get set up tomorrow and I'll post the new pics, afterwards. Until then.....whatcha think?
