bubbleponic diy with 10 plants

ok so my last journal was a mess from changing things around so to make it easier i just started a new one.

my set up:
2 x 18gal Tupperware heavy duty bins


6 x daylight 6500k 26 watt CFL's
1 x warm white 6500k 48 watt CFL's
(one was taken out after the picture and they were neatly aranged for maximum coverage)


1 x 10 gal Tupperware bin for res with double outlet air pump with two 18" bubble stones
not surewhich are which any more but you can tell there are 3 different strains. 2 are some i found in some chem dawg from a very reputable coop so im interested in what will become of it. 2 or 3 are kool aid and the rest are jack frost. all of which are bag seed. dont wanna spend too much on seeds my first time

i do have one but its garbage so i need another. the hydro shop down the road is closed on mondays so i have to wait. thanks for all the kind words :)

also 2 of them didnt make it through transplanting so theres only 8 now.

so now i have a 4" bubble disk to help put O2 in the res. when should i start feeding them? i am using fox farms grow big plant food and got my new ph tester! what do you guys think?

im not realy sure whats going on but the leaves are curling around ill get pics up asap but help would be very nice. some of the leaves are turning colors, i thought it might be heat stress so i re-located them to a cooler area. roots look good as well. maybe im just parinoid but i think they should be bigger as well. im using fox farm nutes at 1/4 strength and a tsp of super thrive in a 10 gal res. also i didutehave a ph issue because of my old ph reader and reached 8.1 before as well, could it be nute lock?

so here are some new pics. there are some 2700k lights on so what looks like yellowing is only the lights. i also have a new bubbleponic setup ready to make some germinating beans a new home.

all have cracked and their wieners are showing. lol as soon as they have a good root system going, into the hydro!

looking alot better than before i think they are liking the nutes and the correct ph level hehehe. the big bud beans i bought from a co-op for $20 for 12 but they actually give you 13 for good karma as they said. what do you all think?

so here i am again but with porn!!i have a few questions (i might be just paranoid lol) but ill get to that later. first order of business is they are moving right along a little slower than i anticipated but nevertheless there growing. the new growth is a bit light green but i think its a nitrogen def. so i fed them a little and i have the next rez water conditioned and waiting cuz ill probly change the rez cuz the ph has been fluctuating to much.i dont like having to much up or down chemicals in the rez. im starting to get a hang of the whole ph thing but the feeding im not to sure of. how much how little not at all or what? im currently at 1/4 strength but i think thats why there turning yellow, not enough food. so i might go to 1/2 strength. when you look at the photos remember that there should be another set of leaves on most of them but i had to trim them cuz of an earlier ph episode. another thing is they are very short. they are on their 4th or 5th node and there not more than an inch inch and a half tall? something tells me thats not right. i use ro water from the water vendor things, which also send them through several other types of filters like an activated charcoal filter, chlorination filter and an uv light filter. the ph in the bottle before anything was added was 7.0 on the dot so it is very neutral. after food and everything i have it at 5.7. im rambling on to the porn:

well i hope that wasnt two many at once lol. what do you guys think about the spots, color, and growth rate? any suggestions?

i know have 4 big budd seads germing right now that will get there own bubbler. might go with a ScrOG grow with them. also still have the Hawaiian snow and grand daddy purple beans as well which will find their home in a few days. i transplanted one into a pot with soil cuz she wasnt happy. her sister is the same if not yellower. shes probly coming out soon as well. i think those were the kool aid beans cuz they are very similar in shape size and growth rate.

holy crap! i prayed to shiva to bring it back and its here!! lol no but really ive just got a 1/4 Oz of my favorite strain of meds. BWANANA i love i just wanna eat it. it smells like tangerines and banana and the taste is exactly how it smells omg im drolling on my self check these out




well actually its got more of a rustic spicy taste...yup, definitely a spicy taste
and omg does it pack a hit. the best meds ive ever had bar none.

Man nycal hydro Im coming up there on a trips soon I gots to get me some of that if I had that in my local co-op it would get tasted I be on this Purple thats what I always get.

it is my absolute favorite. the guys at the co-op were telling me that its a once a year kinda strain but somehow they got more. its pretty much all their favorites as well. they dont get much and it goes fast. if i could muster up the will power to can a few buds and give them to ya when you get here... but thats like walking on water, you just cant do it unless your a god. i wish i could share this with everyone.

anyways back to the babies. i changed their water this morning and they are loving it. i think my diagnosis was right about the nutes being to low cuz i bumped up to 1/2 strength and their leaves are straight as an arrow. ill get some pics up tonight before they hit the sack. the yellowing on the new leaves is disappearing and it looks good. there was a little accident and something dropped on one.the good news is she is doing fine, the bad news is when it fell on her it messed up the new leaves in the center. so i said what the hell i didnt buy the beans, ill try my hand at topping. i clipped her and well...shes great! you can tell that she doesnt really care about her hair cut cuz the place i clipped looks to be healed allready and the two leaves there are taking over. didnt slow her a bit. if anything shes growing faster.

Help some of my babies are wilting bad. some are looking good but two look real sad. the tips are curling up as well. could this be heat stress? ill get a pic up as soon as i can

ok so this is what happened,
i woke up this morning and checked on them. they were looking good but unhappy. i checked everything and the ph was low so i adjusted and went on my way. i was gone for a few hours and when i got home i checked on them and omg it is bad :( the ph was again high while i was freaking out the wife asked whats wrong. i explained and she told me to relax. How?! well my marine training kicked in and....... ROFL fuck no, it was just the bwanana lol. that shit is so good for anxiety. and i realized that it was nute burn. so i went and got some fresh RO water and did a flush with no nutes. once they start looking better ill add a little bit of food. dah right. it took a nice bowl to realize that. im so much more cognitive when im medicated. ive replanted another in soil just cuz it was so tiny still that it couldnt handle the small amounts of nutes i was giving them they couldnt handle so i took them out. ive got some new ones for there germing right now. i noticed the lights were probly a little to low so i pulled em up a bit as well. so here they are and pray to shiva that they pull through this, or just for em to get healthy. Oh yeah i forgot to turn all the warm bulbs and hps off so there is some orange lights.


^so this is right after the rez change so i still had to clean it up a bit.all right the next few are cropped to just the plant so you can see them better.

^so this is or was the healthiest. now shes supper sad :(

^her fan leaves were getting pretty bad so i trimmed them off but she doest look to be bothered by it really.

^this is the first to be transplanted into soil and shes looking better her green seems to be coming back

^she is looking alot better as well and i assure you those are nut bugz its just dirt that wont come off when sprayed. shes also looking more like a sativa right that could explain why her and her sister are both about the same size cuz i know two or three of my beans were a sativa strain. anyways ,
do you think i should leave the lights on tonight to help re-energize them?i dont understand about the nute burn cuz a few hours after i bumped it up to half strength they were as happy as can be with real vigorous growth. i just dont get it.
any comments would help
