Thanks alot for the good words man. I will be putting the screen in when it is time to stretch them. I like to keep my plants very short for the first 2-3 weeks then throw the net over the top and start moving branches around to fill the screen.

I will be doing everything by the books on this one just like i do in my larger med grow room, I have played with these plants for the last few years and have learned that no matter what you do the best way to grow is the right way. People have been using the scrog method for a very long time and i must say i think that using it helps the bud yeild ALOT.

hahaha... i would hope that we are all high when posting...or mabey not some people lol. But i must say my best thoughts and ideas on how to grow come from smoking so good herb. ::

Also will be doing an update some time today with all of the plants and the new stuff i picked up. I made a removable scrog screen but wont post picts till sun along with the girls and how there growing.

Tonight while drinking with a few friends and smoking a few bowls i got the idea to expand my grow space for test plants a bit. I started thinking of how i could gain more hight yet be able to still keep it small for vegging. So i decided to take the top off and then take some black curtins, fold them in half and duct tape the 2 sides together to make one folded half per curtin. I then took some wood and made another wood frame around the top board of the cabnet. I then tacked the edges down around the edges on the top and bottom frames. I can now go from only 4 feet to a 6 foot tall grow space in a mater of seconds, by sliding 4 wood rails up and screwing them into place. I will be going to the auto parts store soon to pick up some 24" shocks that are used for hatches and hoods on cars. I will make custom sliders so that all i will have to do is move a metal latch and the top will spring up allowing more space yet small enough to tuck in a corner.


If any one gets this idea and decides to make a adjustable grow tent slash room. Let it be know that it was started here first!!! :)

Here is what the box looks like before you lift the top off to extend the space up.


The scrog screen can be moved from 3 feet off the floor to 4 1/2 feet when needing to grow different size plants.


And of course i needed to buy some neem oil... i use this stuff no mater if i have pests or not to keep my girls clean and healthy.


The girls in there new pots. They will stay in these 5gal's till harvest.


Added river rock to the bottom of the 5's to allow for beter drainage.




I alsways love to add a bit of ocean forest to my home made soil mix, seems to work very well with my compost.


Well thats all for now folks. More pictures of the girls coming sunday night. Didnt feel like posting every thing today because i wouldn't be able to post again for a few days so enjoy this and i will have more pics to come very soon.

Hi all, well it's been a few days and the girls seem to be loving there new space and buckets. They are growing about an inch a day now and starting to use more nutes at feeding. I was up late last night and didnt get much sleep so thats all im going to say for now lol. Here are the new pics of the girls... All of the girls have also been topped one every branch. Not sure how well this will work but they seem to keep growing with out slowing down, so i must be doing some thing right. ( lights were moved for pictures, there about 13" from the girls all the time)
