Net Pot Size

1st DWC and have a 15-gal tote for 1-plant. Will have net pot in the middle with covered inspection holes on either size. Was planning on using a 3" net pot. Will this be too small? Trying not to make the tote lid weak.

I'd go with a 5" net pot myself.

I offten feel this, in the TOTE type DWC theres net pots that somepeople dont use and they just cover them up then some people fill them but leave them empty and there yield is better so i would go with 3" or bigger and fill the unused baskets with hydroton.
