Still dunno about that. At first glance this SpeeCees appears to be highly intellegent. To me intellect and respect are 2 totally different creatures. Now 420fied and PitViper are 2 guys I can say are verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry well respected here. I have now clue about their intellectual side, but they can grow their asses off and many members respect their advice and opinion in our forums. I never heard of this other guy, but will definitely look further into his work. It looks like a god read. Thank u all for introducing me to SpeeCees work. Anyone willing to inject CO2 str8 to their roots please start a thread so we can follow.

i checked out a couple of more official sites and found this...
" The enzyme which fixes carbon dioxide is called Rubisco. This is not produced in the roots, as photosynthesis is not active in roots " ":RuBisCO [3], is an enzyme (EC 4.1.1.39) that is used in the Calvin cycle to catalyze the first major step of carbon fixation, a process by which the atoms of atmospheric carbon dioxide are made available to organisms in the form of energy-rich molecules" so it seems pointless to add CO2 to your roots

I think the point that CO2 is used by the leaves and O2 by the roots has been driven home so I will let the horse rest in peace. I have yet to see an hydro garden with an air tight reservoir so I am not sure how the CO2 is going to stay in the reservoir and not blend with the air in the room? Or am I not following the concept being discussed here? I understand it is one of the heavier parts of "air" but still don't think it is heavy enough to pool in the reservoir.
But, like anything else, it might be worth a try. I am sure the first time someone tried to grow a plant with no soil they got some strange looks but we all know how that turned out. Happy Growing. ![]() Edit: And about the multiple plants in a container, I know it is a common belief that two plants in one container will cause one plant to die. I never tried it, but always though it has more to do with available water and nutrients than the proximity. I used to have an a GH 36 site aeroflo which puts the plants really close and the roots turn into one big tangled mess. I have also seen wild cannabis and it tends to grow in bunches, not spread out like we plant it to allow better light exposure. I think as long as the light is good, the food and water are plenty, and there is room for the roots, you can grow more than one in a container. I might just try it here and will start a journal if I do.
