here's the deal with cannabis,
if you top a plant, it promotes branching of the nodes below the cut. the same thing happens if you twist and then bend the stem over (so it's not the top any more), except when you bend it over, there is no open cut to heal over, and now the branching will happen on the nodes below the bent top, and the bent top will continue to grow.

One thing is for sure. Both methods will increase flowering sites and possibly overall yield. However, either method could result in smaller flowers rather than one or two large colas, or three, lol. Potency will remain the same as it is genetic. Flower size has no bearing on this apsect of the plant...

i bend instead of prune , the main stem continues to grow instead of removing it , simply soften up the stem between your thumb and forefinger and bend it over without snapping it , it will heal in about one day and the bend will end up being stronger than the original stem , your plants will love the abuse ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, SMOKR1
