duct tape?

Just split my main stem 4 days into 12/12. The split is about 2" long and right down the middle.

I have duct taped her back together and tied twine around it fairly tight to support her. Anybody think this will affect flowering?

Today is 1 week in 12/12 and she seems to have slowed down a little bit, but I still see pistil development, and she is growing.

duct taping splits/ cracks immediately is the thing to do. you may want to remove the twine in about 2 weeks(once healed) so it doesn't cut into stem as it grows fatter. The healing will slow her down a little but it wil be allright

Thanks for the reply hippie.

I planned to remove the twine once I felt it could support itself again. I might wrap some over the tape (not as tight) for additional support throughout flowering.
