I've planted 2 royal queen special kush in two small plant pots.
They sprouted this morning so i've put them under a 600w hps grow lamp..
there planted in multi compost soil with jonh innes..
im also gonna be using tomrite for nutrients.

I was wondering how much watering they would need.. and when to start giving nutrients?
thanks

i would think that light is a bit close for starting sprouts , they would cook , or maybe it just looks close in the picture , how high is is and what your temps just above pots ?

There about 14 inches above the pots
The temps gone up to 36
I no that's way to hot
Am gonna get a fan in there..

get the light up please or them babies will die , lower as they grow . always check temps where you plants are , dont go by the side ect , i would move it at least 3 feet above to they get up a bit :thumb: that will bring your temps down where your babies are , check the temps again after an hour , even put a couple of cfl light there , save you electric and will help plants veg . put the hps on when you start to flower ,

good luck

Re: New Grow.. Some advice..

I've put 2 15w (1800 lumens total) 2700k lights about an inch above them gonna see how that goes..
Rooms much better temperature and they don't look so dry.
One lights a spiral ones a stick
Hope this helps

Yeah you need to get that light much higher. I would suggest only using that 600w hps in flower. That's too much light for the seedlings. I would get CFL or t5 lights, cheap and work great for starting seeds
