Light position

Hi, just wondering. Do my lights have to be right above my plants? Or can I put it at the top corner angled down so the whole area gets light. I'm growing in a short space so need more light coverage without buying another light. I've got a 600w right now. Any help would be great.

And I'm doing a scrog again. I did it with light above and got 4oz off four plants but now I wanna try 8 but the light won't cover all 8 so that's why I wanted it at side angled over them all. Ta.

You can do that and angle your scrog net

I'll give it a try. I got four per plant too. Wouldn't have been worth it for 1oz a plant.
