Cut bent stem to get new roots?

I'm growing a plant with a bent stem for weeks now and it doesn't grow anymore and now it even fell over again. It just doesn't get enough water. Currently it's out of the soil and just in a cup of water.

What can I do to get new roots? Can I do anything at all, is this plant doomed?

Flowering clones are a pain... but can be done. The key is to keep the temps and moisture level stable.
You're trying to do a re-veg and a clone at the same time. It will take a week or two to shift gears back to veg. You have to keep it alive and healthy during that shift. After it shifts, it will shoot out roots.

The bent one did develop a big lump on the stem, around the bent area, and didn't seem to grow for weeks. It finally continues growing. It's tiny compared to the other plants, but at least it's growing again.
