Hi

I want to store male pollen to use next year... anyone had made it??

I will follow this steps:
1) harvest pollen
2) dry
3) store in container to keep out water (humidity) and put into the fridge.
4) if you want to use mix with water 1 hour then apply.

it is right???

help please.

vacuum sealed and in the freezer

As conradino mentioned, it's best to store it in the freezer, and vacuum sealing will help keep out a lot of moisture. I've also read that by mixing it with white flour (1:10, pollen to flour) will help keep it dry as the flour acts as a desiccant and you'll have 10X as much to play with.

As far as using it, I don't believe you want to mix it with water- you should apply it dry. I've read that water kills pollen, though I don't really believe this. It would be much easier to apply dry anyway. There are lots of methods to apply it precisely, once you get that far.
