So... I have a calcium issue and the easiest way for me to deal with it would be with Hydrated Lime (34% Calcium) I have on hand.
It's a powder that breaks down over time. My current plan is to spread about 1 tablespoon over the top of my purely perlite medium and water it in with some 5.5ph clear water. I know lime raises PH, so I want to stay on the 5.5 side.
Thoughts? Comments? Experiences?
