Tough question there jaye13. It depends alot on how you want to grow. Organics or chemical nutes are available. My first hydro grow I used Fox Farm nutes due to the fact that it is much harder to burn plants with organic nutes than chemical. My grow that's about to crank up now will be using Dutchmaster Gold series...a bit pricey for the whole set, but after watching Pan4Gold49 grow a jungle with the DM set, it's worth it to me.

you see the bud box if i put a 600 watt light in there and say i get 8 pot with plants how much ruthy do u think ill well get.

I have never heard of one gram per watt before. You want to target 50 watts of light per square foot. As far as yield goes, there is no accurate way to predict that. Many variable are in play. Genetics, setup and style of growing, nute program and the skill of the grower are all in play. Of these, genetics play the largets role. You'll never grow a monster plant if the genetics are bad.
