What ever happened to the old school skunk?

What ever happened to the old school stinky skunk bud from like what we had in the early 90's ? I have seem lemon skunk and a few others but nothing compares to the way it used to be.

It probably got lost a long time ago. There is a whole group on another forum that discusses nothing but the re-aquisition of the old stinky knock-you-on-your-a%% skunk, whether by breeding for the characteristics or by simply finding some fabled stand of it in someone's backyard.

People that grow pot generally smoke pot. Poeple that smoke pot tend to forget what... wait... what?

i live in a bad state.ha ha . last year towards the end of the year i ran across some skunk . its still out there. people just dont know they have. thats the bad part. they just think its some kill.

What about Big Buddha's 'Cheese' ?

I know it's not the Exodus UK cut, but I grew some out last Winter and it was staaaanky. I had to 'borrow' some special microbiological glassware from the Lab in town to make sure the smell did not escape when I was on the move. That was the best of three supposed Skunk varieties I attempted.

Can anybody corroborate that?

Andy, someone told me, and they are british, that for a while all the smoko there was "CHEESE" and as such, everything was mistaken as such. Here in Australia, everything used to be "SKUNK" and mates of mine in LA swear everything used to be "CHRONIC". Do you know what I mean?

I used to get some really killer skunk. One Sunny Summer day a coworker and I had some in a bag in his 68 Convertible Cutlass. we came out for lunch, and got 5-6 cars away from his and cpu;d start smelling it. we looked at each other without saying anything- and KNEW the other guy could smell it. It was in 2 ziplock baggies. Sure wish I could find some of that again..........

I know what you mean. 'Round here, as I grew up, anything good was called "Hydro", and many times the dank shit, was called "Aero". Just styles of growing used as blanket terms. Sometimes I get the feeling everything is Kush and Haze now

It certainly doesn't come around as often as it used to. But I have to reiterate that the Cheese I grew was a stinky one.
