What makes a great hydro/organics store?

I was just curious what the opinions of some 420 enthuesiets may be on what it takes to make a great store. What would they need to do per say to totally be a customer satisfying store?

My opinion is a store that spreads growing knowledge, and wants you to know how to use what they sell, rather then just sell you a bunch of gizmos and hope you figure it out at home.

I know what attracts me , the endless pit of knowledge they posses.
The people working with clients need to know their nutrients like the back of their hand. Need to know what products are meant for diffrent enviorments.

But a person with knowledge and no charming and welcoming personality comes off as a smart ass, so customer relations would be #2. You can never act to busy to not have a discussion with a client.

Then you also have to have all your products in stock with reasonable prices.

What separates successful stores from crappy ones is Customer Support. Treat every client the same. Dont go kissing the ass of the guy that buys thousands of dollars worth a year, and leave the guy that only wants a few bags of soil in the dark, he needs his share of ass kissing too.

I could open my own shop one day. But I'm actually pretty involved with a current local store, and I hope to work there part time in the future. Nonetheless, I really respect the owners and find them to be good people, so even if I never worked there I still enjoy trying to help out. I figured it would be good to get 420magazine members opinions on what makes a great store, and share then info with the owners.

So far they seem to be doing a great job already, but I was just curious what sort of idea's I may receive from the forum.
