I was just wondering if there are any others that really like to meditate to certian music.
When ever I meditate, I like to listen to a Enya and Enigma Mix or I listen out in the forest to the sounds of nature.

I have winamp and I'm always listening to the Internet Radio selection. Try the Ambient category. They have a good listing of some very nice stations. Groove Salad, Lounge Radio, and so on. All very good music to chill out with.

ayy, i duno if it counts as meditation, but when i smoke weed i usually lay on my freinds back porch starin at the sky with a blunt listening to pink floyd, bone thugs, jimi hendrix, Bob Marley, and a a bunch of other Rapers and classic rock songs! yo if thats meditating then i do it when im drunk as well as hi, but the music gets more depressing then

sorry to open up a new thread again. but just had to point out. the music i find that induces me into a trance-like zone-out state is techno music. ok i noe everybody hates techno. i used to too. until il started going to raves.
but just sitting at home, the repetitiveness of the beats, esp songs listed under the hardstyle genre which encompasses heavy bass kicks as well, do seriously put you in a near trance where you feel like you're being sucked in by the beat and slashed at by the synths. its kinda scary when you're tripping...

^definitely bro. the lack of words helps you focus more on your thoughts rather then what the words are syaing...
ie. if i listen to cypress hill - hits from a bong i'd just be focusing on taking hits from my bong LOLOL
