Amsterdam 2006/07

GOod news. I JUST got the OK from my boss for vacatio time. I have reserved 10 days (including New Years) for travel to Paris, then to Amsterdam in 2006/07! I have 1,300 in the bank specificaly for that trip, and about 700 more will be saved up by December. Life is indeed good. Who else is going to be in that part of the world at that particular time?

For real man. I also just purcahsed a GPS system, and will be uploading the European maps into it. I've been to both Amsterdam and paris a few times, but the older I get the less I like trying to figure out maps. GPS should be a nice new addition to my Euro trekking. Rest assurde countless high quality pics of Amsterdams finest WILL be taken and posted here when I go.

The GPS arrived today, but it arrived at my folks home. No one was there to sign for it, so my mother is going to pick it u for me tomorrow :-)
Im glad to see so many people making it out to the Dam'! Remember: VOndelpark Hostel is THE place to stay for great accomodations in a very nice area not too far from anything,abd the Flying Pig DownTown is THE place to stay for nice accmodations if you want to party. I am actualy staying at the Crown Plaza Hotel this time around, one of the nicer hotels there, because I'm going with 5 other people so we can split the cost of a room.
