That's a question for your lawyer...... if the cops had probable cause (broken tailight) to pull you over and didn't wantonly violate your rights, you'll probably lose in a court trial pleading not guilty. Sorry to say so, but people tend to side with the law and you know how they are gonna make you sound like a criminal. Your best chances as I think this was your 1st violation is pleading it down and playing up your medical needs (med card in possession or not) in a med mj tolerant state. I hope by now you've contacted NORML and are seeking legal counsel through their network......... again, please let us know what happens in court as this might be VERY valuable info for many others in the same situation.............
