A lot of people don't realize how pro-pot things are out here in The Emerald Triangle.
About a month ago I posted a thread and mentioned that CAMP (campaign against marijuana platations) circled my prop. 6 times. I'm sure they saw my garden and I'm sure they took pics and turned them over the the county sheriff.
In checking my documentation for what I thought would be a quick follow-up by the local leo's I freaked. 1 of my recommendations had expired a few months earlier. Half my crop was at that moment illegal.
YIKES!
So I made an appt. with the Dr. and sweated bullets until I got the renewal.
And guess what?
The cops never showed up.
About 2 weeks ago I thought it was gonna happen.
A cop car stops in front of my house. In it was the head of narcotics (who's also a "regular" cop). I came out as did my neighbor.
Turns out he was looking for a golf cart that had been reported stolen a few days ealier. It was stolen from a location close by, and the cop asked if we'd heard/seen anything (we hadn't).
He thanked us and went on his way. I knew this cop knew I had a garden.

The reason they never came out is probably because they counted the # of plants in the photo's and found out it was exactly the legal limit. They're assuming I have the needed documentation or they just don't care.
Either way I'm not complaining.

Does your neighbor have a crop as well? If so.. sweet. I'd love to be able to trade growing tips and tricks with my neighbor on the way to take out the trash or something.
