Black Eyed Peas Member Charged With Weed Possesion

Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas (far left) was charged with possession of marijuana while driving, and possession of 28.5 grams or less of marijuana during a hearing Thursday (5/10) in Los Angeles.

The rapper, whose real name is Jaime Luis Gomez, was arrested in March following a minor traffic accident in the City of Industry, near Los Angeles. Police found him in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

The 31-year-old faces a maximum $200 fine for the two misdemeanor drug charges, and no jail time. His arraignment is set for May 25.
