marijuana with mono

hey there everyone

well let me start
i started feeling like crap and got very sick over the past week.
i went in for a blood test 2 days ago and it came ou that i have
mononucleosis "mono".

i think this is the best place to ask so i thouht id come here first.
would smoking marijuana be harmful or helpful to me in anyway while im dealing with the mono?

i thought it might ease the symptoms a little (headaches, muscle pain, throat pain) but didnt want to risk anything.

any advice would be great

It might make you feel a little better, but in terms of recovery, I don't see many positive effects coming out of it. With something as serious as mono, I'd take a break from the herb and just focus on getting better.

its just theyve gone and prescribed me vicodin and ive been popping advil but neither does anythign my throat still kills and my head hurts like hell

if i decided to maybe once or twice to relieve my head and throat pain when its really servere
do you think it could possibly be harmful ?
