screens / box

Morning all.

Got a quick question.. What are the stash boxes called that have the very fine screen in them and sometimes a mirror or glass under the screen?

What is the screen used for? I think is for the crystals to fall thru..if so... do I just put a bud on screen or do I use a grinder then put the herbs on the screen??

As you can see I'm confused...any information will be greatly appreciated.

You're thinking of a keif or hash box. You break up the bud or seeds and stems, then put it on the screen and run the material over the screen. The THC falls through the screen while the trash stays on top. The mirror on the bottom is just for easy collection of the THC, nothing sticks to it.

Where are you finding these at? May have to look into one ..

Mine is a "Tyler screen scale", made of brass. It's designed for other uses, but works great , if you get the right size screen. Check e-bay, they're there.
You can also make one out of wood and a sheet of screen.

I made these out of 3 picture frames a couple hinges and some nuts and bolts.

What size are the screens you use Race?

I use old pantyhose, rubber band and a 4 inch deep bowl
