My first grow room...
Well ive been tempted to start a grow for some while and decided to try it out. How does this space look? It is completley hidin. I plan on getting a fan in there soon. Also does the light look decent for growing?

use plastic pots insted of clay because clay dries the soil out quicker. Cover the walls in some black plastic then mylar and try to get a squirrel cage fan with an air duct system. To harvest anything more than 1 ounce you're going to need an HPS light for the budding cycle.

wow nice area to grow in.. but i agree with endo you need more efficiant light source and better ventalation.... keep it up and keep posting... peace!

I figured i would need a new bulb. Ill pick up a cfl tomorow. It is a attic and is either room temp or a little cooler then outside. I plan on using bag seeds for my first grow and im going to plant one and hope for a girl.

keep in mind that optimal growth occors when there is atleast 65-70watts & 10,000 lumens in a sq. ft...... definately more light is needed .... 1 150 hps will grow you a nice dense little stash if it's 2 plants in 2 sq ft...

I moved a fan in to help criculate the air and my friend let me borrow a light from him. Its a 250w i belive. And do u think it would be alright to let 2 grow in the same bucket?

well that might be barley sufficiant enough for seedlings but soon as possible i would get a better lighting system and ballast...i would suggest somthing under $150 like a 400watt hps light and ballast.. you can buy them off ebay or you could make your own
