i have 5 plants in vegging, my Q'S is i have a 400w mh,can i switch the lights on 12-12 with the mh bulb or do i have to use hps bulb to sex them thanks

Is your ballast a switchable or do you have hps ballsts or a conversion bulb I would say yes. If you have just the bulb then its not going to work.

i have the 360 hps convertion bulb

Then change the bulb for sexing. Its the proper flowering spectrum.
