will my seedlings be ok?
hi all,
this is my 1st grow, and i'm growing kc brains mango. i built a grow last week and ordered everything i needed. i've made a stupid error... my lamp that i ordered ist'n going to turn up till the end of next week!!! but i've all ready gremenated 4 seeds and they all sprouted into little seedlings about 1" tall. what i've been doing is, at sun rise(05:00) i've been putting them out side and at sun fall (20:30) i've been putting the in the airing cubboard. they are get about 10 hours of direct sun light. will they be ok with this? and will i still be able to put them under the lamp on 18/6 when i get it, will the be ok with that? many thanks  |

Just be aware that having a plant outdoors like that puts you at risk of bringing pest problems back with the plant when you put it under the HID when it arrives. A small plant outdoors is a magnet for pests eg spider mites

I forgot that part,
I recommend a 14 day quarantine and spraying with NEEM every 7 days. Before you bring them into the grow room.

I recommend buying some cheap CFL's to tide you over. Once your HID (I'm guessing HPS) light arrives you can always continue to use the CFL's for extra blue spectrum lighting during veg. as well as for starting new seedlings.

yeah i got me some cfl's and they are doing great now thanks.
