Re: Leaves cut during flower
just leaf them,ha ha. they will probably survive.every time you take a leaf it shocks them so it needs time to repair.i only take sick looking or verry yellow leaves, keep in mind they do yellow near the end of thier life.they have provided life to the plant and are no longer able to help plant. usualy starts with the older growth and works it`s way up

Re: Leaves cut during flower
The large fan leaves are the major solar panels of the plant. Without them the process of photosynthesis becomes very difficult for the plant to accomplish efficiently.
But as others have said, let them grow and see what happens. No sense in wasting all that effort. And a lesson learned, get your buddy on here for an education or keep him out of your grow room. ![]()

Re: Leaves cut during flower
The buds will have a hard time maturing without the large fan leaves. Because you are in the flowering phase, it is safe to say that you will not see the smaller leaves grow into larger ones as a replacement for those lost. The plant grows out the large fan leaves during the veg. phase and that time has passed. The plant is now working mostly on the buds and needs the fan leaves to provide solar energy to the plant for the purpose of photosyntesis.
Theres no doubt your now working at a detrement having lost these leaves. However, cannabis is a very hardy plant and most of them find a way to prevail even in the most compromising circumstances. Grow them out, see what you get, and learn from your mistakes... or should I say, your friends mistake. ![]() ![]()
