...Is it too late..

I was given some seeds that were brought back from cali. as a gift from a friend. The bag is mixed with 5-6 different strains. I was just wondering if it was too late to start some of these outside? Iwas gonna let them veg for just a short time then force it too flower early by covering them to make sure they only get 12 hrs of light...is it too late to do this...?

Probably too late. You have less than two months of veg time before there is only 12 hours of daylight. There is currently about 14 hours. Basically, you would end up with a tiny plant. Not sure if it's worth the effort, but maybe it's worth a shot if you have nothing better to do. I wouldn't mind being proven wrong here.
