question about starting at 12/12

hey guys ive been reading alot on here about all the success you guys are having starting your seedling at 12/12 and forcing them to bud right away. i am considering this option for my maui wowie that i just put into the soil yesterday, but i wanted to make sure that i can clone off of the females. does anyone with experience using the 12/12 system know if i will be able to take clones off the females? thanks

the whole point is that i am planning on going 12/12 from birth so how would they every get to veg? thanks anyway tho

before you go to 12/12.

I think this is the answer you are looking for... With 12/12 strait from seed you don't get much side branching so there are not alot of places to take clones from untill you are 3 weeks into flower production. They would be considered flowering clones so you would need to re-veg them under 18/6 or 24/0 to root them and grow them to proper size for re-flowering. Also taking clones at 3 weeks into flower production will slow the "mother" plants growth and likley reduce your end yeild.

not sure if this is the correct way to post a question but here goes, i've never used these forums till recently.
i've just heard a couple of stories and i'm wondering if you guys can confirm or blow them out the water,so to speak.
i've been told b4 putting your vegging plants into flowering that give them 24hrs darkness b4 starting them on 12-12.
I also heard to leave your plants in darkness 48hrs b4 you harvest them that this makes the buds swell.
if that is true, do you let your plants go dry and use up wat moisture is there or give them plenty water in order for them to take it on board to help in the swelling of the buds.
i mean the 3-4 days b4

But have used the total darkness before cutting.

Seemed to me to increase the potency
But it's still debated

I don't water if they don't need it the last day or so before harvest.
They just dry quicker it seems to me.

Honestly, pull them in the morning, after a good nights rest.

Just go right to 12/12 after veg, no worries.

Feed them distilled water only (if you are in soil) for the last few days (longer if you use chemical ferts.

That's about all the solid stuff I can reccomend.

BS! See the "flowering clone" thread in my signature. No reason to clone during veg only.
