What causes leaf twist?

I have seen this for a while now and some days are worse than others. I can't pin it down to anything in particular so I figured I'd ask for some advice. I'm thinking it is from the heat but I'm not sure. If it is the heat I can't do much about it because these are outdoors. The temps have been averaging 95 or so but a couple of weeks ago it was 104. A few of the tops are a little bit shriveled but I thought this was from the heat too unless someone thinks differently. They seem pretty healthy for the most part other than these minor issues but I would like to stay on top of it if there is a problem starting. They have always had a touch of yellowing on the lower leaves too, and is mostly concentrated on the fan leaves. The ph is 6.8 and I feed them Fox Farms. They are flowering now and are super thick. Even while veg-ing they were super dense so I think they are going to have great buds in the end. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

To me it looks like bugs got at your plant in one picture. However otherwise they look fine to me. High temps most likely.

Re: What causes leaf twist?

Usually a PH imbalance. They can also twist to the light source, but that's a different twist.

Re: What causes leaf twist?

calcium and or magnesium deficient. Add some cal/mag or use hard water and 1 teaspoon of epsom salt per gallon of water.

Re: What causes leaf twist?

I went through that V leaf thing.... I was reading at a place that that can be a Mg deficiency... I gave my plants 1/2 teaspoon of Epsom salts (Mg) at every 2nd watering (per gallon)...and they're fine now............
I give a little pinch of that and Dolomite lime at every 2nd - 3rd watering..and my babies are happy........

Re: What causes leaf twist?

Thanks for the replies. I'll give the epsom salts a try tomorrow and see what happens. The leaf twist seems to come and go and really seems to show up most in the late afternoon. Not much twist today though and it was pretty hot so it's a pretty weird thing but hopefully the epsom salts will help. I do appreciate the advice.
