1000w super hps set up

quick question for the masters

got a 5x4 enclosed closet made it my self

how far should a 1000w super hps remain away from plants and do i need a bigger room for this light

You need the light at least 18" off the top of your plants, and VERY good ventilation to deal with the heat of the HID. I suggest you use an area a bit bigger, perhaps 5x5 or even 6x6

what type of budget do you have for fans is the real question! Plan on needing an aircooled hood pulling at least 270cfm along with a 465cfm intake and 600 plus for exhaust and an ambient room temp of 75 degrees. If you can pull it off then you will be rewarded with super buds for the super hps!!! I am trying to achieve this with a 53"x53"x7ft Habitat44.....wish me luck
