DIY Drainage system help?

Hi Guys, im growing 4 plants in a 0.6m x 0.6m x 1.4m tent and at the moment the base of the tent has a nice 0.6m x 0.6m black plastic tray at the bottom wich is cool,
however when i water the run off water floods the tray and then I have to soak
it all up with towels or turkey baster.lol

maybe I should use less water, but is there any neat tricks for collecting and emptying run off water that you guys know of?

Raise the tray so you can mount a tap or a bung to it.

Good one thanks menial! I thought good 'ol gravity might have a hand in it,
guess im going to lose a bit of ceiling height though, oh well ..

A small fountain pump sitting in the tray will work and so will a shop vac.
