Clipping damaged leaves??
What do you gain y clippin the damaged leaves..I have a few on my plant but that was from a lil while back and the new growth looks fine..i was just wondering why clip the damaged leaves??

It moves growth auxins(sp) from trying to sustain the leaf to other parts of the plant. I think :-)

I do not believe in clipping leaves.
Damaged leaves can still photosynthesize, and more importantly, if the plant dosen't need the leaf any more, it will move the nutrients and accumulated sugars from the leaf to the other parts of the plant, including the buds. Thus also leaves should not be removed before or during budding, as the plant can utilize the leaves as food for the buds.
