Re: tips of leaves are yellow????
It could well be a lack of nutrients.
But you'll need to be a little more verbose. How old are the plants. Are the growing or flowering? What medium are they in? What is your nutrient regime? Do you have any pics?

Re: tips of leaves are yellow????
Hi Adamcat, your plants look great! Keep up the good work and I don't see that anything will go wrong. Your nutrient ratio looks good. Your soil mix looks good. The fan leaves are huge and just the right colour for vigourous growth. I don't think that you're going to get a huge yield, but it should be good strong hydro smoke. You mention that you are using 6700k fluros, I will be interested to see how the nugs turn out. So keep on posting.
ps the big fan leaves will turn yellow and drop off as the plant flowers. This is the plant naturally taking the energy from the leaves and putting it into the buds - so don't remove these 'sick' looking leaves. Later! G-ma from the wide down under.

Re: tips of leaves are yellow????
I don't think that you have enough red light in there. Commercial growrooms are full 1000 watt lights, perhaps 1000 watts in the area that you have. You'll get good buds, but not the size of the commercial, and they won't fill out as much.
I don't mean to discourage you, you can make enough ganga from your current lights to buy a bigger one later, and for a first grow you are doing simply amazingly. I'm testing out some red LED lights soon, I've seen good evidence that they work well. They are just on the edge of being affordable. Peace!
