How Did You Get Over The Potential Fear Of...
...leaving your high powered lights on while you are away at work or away from the house for long periods of time? I am still real paranoid about it and expect to go up my driveway and see a fireball of flames skyrocketing from my home.
How did you get over that feeling? |

i still get that feeling. i only leave them for at the very most 2 nights, which would be rare, and i still get all sketched out about turning the corner and just seeing a pile of ash.

It was very hard at first to leave the house and hope I didn't come back to firetrucks in my driveway putting out my home! Luckily nothing like that ever happened to me. I always made sure that the fuses, sockets, voltage, bulbs, ballasts, and all that electrical stuff was alright and never-ever overloaded. But in the end, you just have to trust yourself my friend! |

Have your lights on at night when you sleep if you don't want to be out of the house when they're on.

I use a fire safety cord with my 400 MH. it's good to 120f, trips on voltage, spikes, water and amp spikes. Also a good smoke alarm with an auto dialer to a CLOSe friend is a good idea. I also taught my wife and son how to use all of the 4 fire extinguishers in the house.
