What would 600w hps do to my veg?

I was wondering..
Is there any point of adding 600w hps to a 250w cfl 6700k?
This is for vegging.
I will have 250w cfl 2700k and the 600hps for flower.
But as I asked. Is there any point of having it on during veg?

Pro vs cons please.. And no need to state the electricity facts or the hours on the hps..Or that I should get a MH.

I would not bother with HP sodium in Veg.
cost & heat increase is a bit of a trade off.
Metal Halide is the Veg phase needed spectrum of light.
2x your ML lights & speed up the growth, maybe.
the more light towards the end of blooming will really increase resin.
also, Co2 the last month will amaze you. just a shot of Co2 in mornig & late in light cycle will bust the buds out!

I use a 25w CFL per plant for veg, so I would suggest sticking with your 250w CFL, flowering is where you need the big amounts of light, not so much in veg
