LED harvest timing

Growing with hps the rule is to cut down plants
Before lights come on, and not so after the
Lights have been on .
So....
Since the heat is less
Does it matter so much with LeD the timeing of cutting down ones plants in relation to the LeD light on / off cycle ??

i have heard some people leave the plants in the dark for a few days before harvesting , I cut them down at the end of the light cycle and hang the branches in the dark. it might be better to hang them under the lights for a few days for all I know, although I never heard of anyone doing it.

I don't think it matters what light your using its more or less a personal preference or what you have been told by others is their preferred method.

I harvest at the end of the day because I *think* the plants produce trichomes in the day time under lights not at night in the dark. Which is my assumption.

Some people will stress the plant with boiling water or beat the plant with a stick, each to his own I guess.

I have yet to see any scientific literature on the subject , although it may exist.
