Re: Tiger Bloom??

I use a 26 gallon container and a shop vac for flushing indoors.

Maybe make a pool liner box for the entire floor space? Suck it out with a shop vac. Any ideas? Should I put rocks in the bottom of the pails for drainage or anything like that?
One word, "Bath-tub"...well a hyphenate actually.

Re: Tiger Bloom??

PH. We don't check our PH enough and good meters are expensive. You can get cheap ones, but it's a pain and they leads to under use.

Over watering. We over water- A LOT.

Soil- We get it from the backyard and dont burn it.

Some other bad habits we enjoy around here too :-)

Re: Tiger Bloom??

It flushes out any salts in the soil number one. Number two, when I switch nutes and flush, it starts new fungi and aids in the uptake of the new nutrients. I also like to add juices during the flushes.

Re: Tiger Bloom??

If you have perfect conditions, you should still flush. Just like a good rainstorm, removing salts and unwanted bi-products in the soil helps the plant substantially.

They always say there are a lot of people that could make a few changes and increase yield beyond their imagination. Then they know the difference between growing and gardening :-)

If you can reproduce mother nature to the strain you are growing, that's as good as it gets :-)

Re: Tiger Bloom??

Can't help you there my friend. Every grow room I've built has had a drain system and fresh water supply built in so flushing has been easy.

Re: Tiger Bloom??

A fantastic way to do it is a dog washer head that attach's to the hose like a kitchen sprayer, but stronger. It does no damage, but you have to have pH neutral water in the house.

I only flushed 2 1/2 times really, just at change over, and 2 weeks before and and a 1/2 a few days before harvest. the last 2 flushes get 2 tbsp/gallon of fresh squeezed OJ or pineapple or both. Then they get a fresh top 2" of soil mixed with trace nutes.

Thats about it.

Re: Tiger Bloom??

Id like to add a little to this thread as well. I know I'm a first time grower and I have learned alot from ***** and Boss on their thoughts on nutes, flushing and growing. I have semized this. Cannibus is in fact is a weed. Most weeds can take alot of abuse and still survive. I have learned to "read" my plants and they tell me what they need. Sometimes I push them to their limit just to see what they will do, but to both extremes. I see this as my margin of error. I believe it makes me a better grower, and maybe in the end I get a better production at harvest. Either way I learn what strains I like to grow and which don't react as well to my enviornment im growing in. Your plants in the end will tell you what they need and when, hell sometimes I can't sleep from their yelling at me all night long! LOL Just what I've picked up.
