Best Hydroponic Algaecide?

Looking for best Hydroponic Algaecide or any other additives to keep problems out of my reservoir. Recently purchased the Ebb and Grow and trying to get my ducks in a row before I dive in.

Like usual I recommend good old hydrogen peroxide. I get the 35% food grade and add at 0.5ml/L or 2.0ml/USGal. Not so good if you're using organics as it will oxidize them tho it will attack nasties first. Supplies extra O2 as well.

Anyone know if using a UV sterilizer in their reservoir is worth the trouble in fighting off bacteria. algea etc?
