orange in jar with bud?

i heard that if you put a orange in a bag with holes in it and put it in the jar with your buds when they are curing that it will give the bud an orange taste is that true?

I have read that numerous times on this site. I have not tried it myself. I heard people only use the orange peels. There are some tutorials on this site that explain exactly how to do it. I do know you have to be careful of mold. Do a search on the subject, I'm sure you'll find some threads.

^ Agreed... Only use orange peels. Don't put em in and forget about them. Make sure you check every 12 hrs or so. You will be surprised how moist your buds can get in a short period of time. ;-)

I use a piece of lettuce. Lot's of water and it doesn't affect the taste I love so much.lol

iv used tangerine peels in middle school to 'funken up' a sack. result was a white mold that i assumed got me higher.. we were naive.

I just tried the orange peels on my own little harvest. I only left them in there for 4-5 hours, but it did the trick.
