I'm not McBudz but I've been doing this for quite a few years.
I hope your opening that jar a couple times a day to allow the off gasses to escape? otherwise mold could form. If you smell anything like amonia forming then pull them out of the jars as they are still too wet. And the best cure is done in a dark cool place and heat and light start to decompose THC.

Hey Racefan
I have been growing for a couple years, but can never seem to get my bud better as I cure it. In my opinion the best smoke is about 2-3 weeks after harvest. I am sure I am doing something wrong, but can't figure it out, I dry for about 10 days, then put them in jars and open the jars from once to sometimes 7 or 8 times a day. After 2 weeks or so I will close the jar for a day or two, then re-open it. After about a month I lose most of my good smell, it starts to smell like hay or alfalfa, the taste begins to fade also. Could I be drying them too long?? After growing this long and reading as much as possible about it I thought I would finally "get it", but my last cure turned out smelling hayish again, it is really frustrating, help? |
