PROGRESS ON HEMP TRIAL PLANTING

Recommendations on plans for a trial planting of hemp are expected to go to
the Government shortly. Several Government departments are developing a
regulatory framework for the industrial growth of hemp, used overseas for
paper, curtains, clothes and cosmetics.
