Would you buy something like this ? Woud you give up on dutch hash and sticky fingers ? This looks really easy , and you can save much time and C-fingers , but would you change it for a fun eavning with your closest friends and nice smokable conversations????

I'd rather relax with my friends than be stuck trimming with them for days! I've never tried the trimmers but I love the idea! Now we just need to find a machine that takes clones for us too!

I have been using the Tumbleweed/Samurai for the last year and love it. I will never go back to hand trimming. If you have large amounts it is totally worth it but if you don't, look for something else. I am also getting a Twister machine in a couple weeks to run at a different garden this fall.
I can usually do between 20-30 lbs in a 12 hour day with 4-5 people helping me to big leaf and run the machine. The bud comes out looking great. Like I said before this is not for everyone but if you have a large harvest it is the best. Friends quickly wear out their welcome after you have been trimming with them for 60 plus days. "Trim machine".... One of my friends in HS had a nice mustang... he called it his "trim machine".
Cheers

I worry that it won't trim the same as by hand. I've not actually seen one in action. When I do it by hand, small leaves get cut far below the 'surface' of the bud. Does the machine yank the leaves like a 3 bladed razor, or is my normal trim over-doing it?
Not trying to bag on trim machines. Just asking. Maybe I'm working too hard... <shrug>

I think it's a matter of quantity. If I were trimming up (teehee... he said "trimming up") many plants, I'd sure be looking for a labor saver. On the other hand, if it's only a few plants, I'd prefer hand trimming for the acuracy.
Cheers

Nothing beats the good ole fashion way of sitting down with a couple of your buddies and lighting up a joint or two or six, then trim some fresh bud that you know you will end up enjoying with your friends.
