Soil Mix Q's

So my soil mix is looking like it's going to be 50% sunshine mix #4, 25% perlite and 25% worm castings (plus a cup of lime). The two concerns that I have are;

Can I root and grow my seedlings in this mix without them getting burnt?

and

How long should I wait into their life before adding more fertilizer (liquid in water)?

Should be fine. At least 2 weeks or more. Keep an eye on color and growth to know for sure.
