Going big with MMJ
I just wanted to ask anyone how hard they think it would be to get 2 pounds of cannabis off of one plant growing indoors under the proper lighting well lets just say all the elements are perfect, lighting, CO2, soil, nutes.....ect.
Growing from both seed and clones?

50 gallons of soil and 15 foot ceilings, maybe. Not to mention the genetics you have to choose.

Reason why I am asking is my caregiver in Denver is getting anywhere from 1/4lb to 2 lbs on a some of his plants so far. These plants stand 6 foot tall and the trunks are about 2 inches in diameter and they are in 20 gallon pots. I don't know how he does it but I can tell ya he switched all of his hdro over to soil farming because of the more he can get from the plants. Now he has 11 patients under him right now so you can imagine what his basement looks like and when I say basement I mean the entire basement has trees and shrubs.

Have you seen them? Is there any way to get more info on his set-up? 4oz. to 32oz. is a pretty big variation. I would like to know what makes one plant yield 8 times more than the next. He must have a rediculous amount of light.

Yep I have seen them with my own eyes and will try and get some pictures if he will let me. Yes he runs all 600's and 1000's. His light bill he said is $500 monthly. Its just insane to see MMJ like that in person and to him its just growing big but to me its freaking amazing to see!
He has a soil recipe that he uses so I will get that and post it up so you guys can see what he uses...

I know it takes 5 months to get them that big. He went from averaging a couple of ounces off the hydro clones to growing freaking privacy bushes for the perimeter of your backyard lol! He said the trick is in the soil, something hydro in his opinion will not accomplish. Now keep in mind that he is not getting 2lbs from every plant, its only been a couple of his plants so far get that much but he does anywhere from 1/4lb on up to 2lbs. Its crazy how he trims them tho....it really looks like a tree because there are no lower branches its just all trunk and then this huge bushy top that I can't even put my arms around. Its pretty impressive!

I sure would like to find out more details if you can get them. As far as I'm concerned, if he gets anywhere near 2lbs, even on one plant, that's a pretty great accomplishment.
