Organic Fish Fertilizer?
later's Pacific Fish Fertilizer 5-1-1 100% Organic Non-burning When transplanting, dip roots of transplants in solution before planting to get plants off to a good start. My question is, if it says dip into solution does that mean straight in the fertilizer or mix with water then dip? Some help please!

Re: Organic Fish Fertilizer?
I'd suggest mixing it to the ratio recommended for houseplants or vegetables before dipping. I think a better way would be to retain the soil on the roots when you transplant and just water the transplant in its new pot with the solution. Furthermore, to aid in transplant transition I'd suggest using a seaweed extract rather than fish fertilizer.

Mix first following the ratios listed on the package.

Re: Organic Fish Fertilizer?
I did mix the water/nute ratio, and added to soil b4 planting. Then gave foliar of sea tea. They're doing good and roots are growing pretty quickly.
Thanks guys!

Re: Organic Fish Fertilizer?
Well they are clones in small mini pots, so you can see the roots grow quick. Time to repot now.

Re: Organic Fish Fertilizer?
unless you have a friend familar with hydro to help with advice
do a first grow with soil and learn how to mix nutes and play with budding cycle lights etc before making it complicated hydro isn't that hard but its much fussier than soil |
